• Account information: your email address, first and last name, and password (stored hashed by our authentication provider).
• Profile information you provide: optional details such as country of tax residence, investor experience, and goals.
• Subscription information: your plan status and billing identifiers from our payment processor. We do not receive or store your full card details.
• Usage & device data: basic technical data needed to run the app (e.g., session tokens and your light/dark theme preference stored in your browser).

2. How we use your information

• To create and manage your account and provide the Service.
• To process subscriptions and grant Pro access.
• To send essential account emails (e.g., confirmation and password resets).
• To personalise and improve the Service.

3. Service providers

We share data only with providers that help us operate the Service:

• Supabase — authentication and database hosting.
• Vercel — application hosting.
• Paddle — payment processing and Merchant of Record (handles all card data and billing).
• Resend — transactional email delivery.
• Market-data providers — to supply fund and price information.

4. Payment data

All payments are handled by Paddle. Your payment card information is collected and processed directly by Paddle under its own privacy policy; UCITSIncome never sees or stores your card numbers.

5. Cookies & local storage

We use only essential browser storage to keep you signed in and remember your theme preference. We do not use advertising trackers.

6. Data retention

We retain your account data while your account is active. You may delete your account at any time, after which we delete or anonymise your personal data, except where retention is required by law.

7. Your rights

Depending on your location (including under the EU/UK GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact support@ucitsincome.com.

8. Security

We use industry-standard measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data.
